Define the commercial basis
State whether the request is for a sample, pilot quantity or commercial order. Clarify currency, Incoterm or delivery expectation, destination, packaging size and whether freight should be included.
Keep technical identity attached to the price
A price without an exact grade and specification is difficult to compare. Ask the supplier to identify the product code, assay or concentration, test method, packaging, MOQ, lead time and quotation validity.
